The port of Gustavia ready and waiting for Les Voiles de Saint Barth

Though the port of Gustavia was devastated by Hurricane Irma last September, Ernest Brin and his team have pulled out all the stops to get all their infrastructure back up and running.

Each day that’s followed has been a challenge but since mid-October everything has been fully operational once more”, announces the Director of the port, promising an even greater capacity than before from 2018. “Today, we have around sixty berths alongside for yachts of up to 200-foot (60 metres), with a draught of 4.5 metres, as well as over a hundred anchorages outside”, explains Ernest Brin, already more than ready to welcome the fleet for Les Voiles de Saint Barth this April. “It’ll be wonderful to hook back up with friends from Les Voiles de Saint Barth in the port of Gustavia. In the meantime, we remain at their complete disposal should they require any further information”, he assures us.
